Position Title: Director of Ignatian Hispanic Ministry

Location: Flexible within the area covered by the East Coast Provinces of the Society of Jesus
Reports to: Executive Director, Office of Ignatian Spirituality
The Office of Ignatian Spirituality (OIS) is a division of the USA Northeast and Maryland Provinces of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits). OIS partners with people and ministries to promote Ignatian spirituality for mission.
Summary of Position
This is a full-time position reporting to the Executive Director of the Office of Ignatian Spirituality. The person in this position will be responsible for assessing the spiritual needs of the Hispanic communities served by OIS and determining and building sustainable structures for Ignatian Hispanic ministry.
The Director will lead a team of other professionals and will interact especially with the Director of Formation Programs and the Director of Ignatian Young Adult Ministries.
This is a full-time position. Regular travel is required.
The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual and bicultural. He or she will have superior skills in management and communications, as well as extensive knowledge of Ignatian spirituality, the Spiritual Exercises and Hispanic/Latino theology and ministry.
